Students at Rachel Carson Middle School in Fairfax County Public Schools created a comprehensive, sustainable, and well researched project that focused on plastics, recycling, and composting!

Their strategies are: installing additional water bottle re-fillers, providing free reusable water bottles to underprivileged students through school counselors, and distributing reusable shopping bags (100% recycled content) to teachers and select students who support sustainability.
