Asking for Environmental Change: A Conversation with Civic Leaders

How Can Students Make Community-Level Change? A Conversation with Civic Leaders in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

This is an opportunity during school time for students to engage in youth-adult partnership with leaders and learn how to ask for change and influence community-level policy or practice. Educators and other environmental organizations are welcome to attend to see a model of a decision makers panel they could host at their school (we recommend a panel as a step of Environmental Action Civics after students have decided democratically on their issue). Student groups can submit one question in advance or be prepared with one question for the civic leaders.
