2019 was a great year at Earth Force. Here are a few of the student project highlights:
Earth Force students in Virginia are working with the local school system and plan to work with a state legislator to improve the standards that govern the removal of mold from classrooms across the state.
Students in Washington, DC convinced the DC government to increase composting at schools across the district. These young people have been working for two years. In April they learned that their project was successful when they heard that the city would restart the composting project.
Earth Force students in Estes Park, CO are working with the city to make their city more resilient to climate change. The students are working with the Fire Department and other groups to make homes and businesses “fire safe” by asking them to move trees and other plants away from homes.
