Cathy Messina’s 5th grade science class has decided to focus on paper recycling. They have viewed video’s of paper making plants. They have studied pine trees, growth rings and the effect of a severe drought on the price of paper. They have made paper from recycled paper. They have ordered a dumpster for recycling paper and they have ordered the classroom containers for starting the recycling program.
